🔨Auto Moderation

This page describes how to configure Parallel's AutoMod.

Parallel's AutoMod is half integrated with Discord. This means for some AutoMod modules, it will use Discord's built in AutoMod to block the messages, and then administer the infraction to the user. This prevents the message from being seen at all or the message remaining undeleted for a period of time.

Enabling an AutoMod module.

To enable an AutoMod module, you use the /automod toggle command followed with the module you want to toggle. Use value true to enable and false to disable.

Setting an AutoMod module's punishment

To set the punishment for an AutoMod module, use the /automod punishment command. For module, select the AutoMod module you want to set the punishment for, and for punishment put the designated punishment. There is an additional argument duration which is where you may put the duration of the punishment.

Exempting roles/channels from the AutoMod

To exempt a channel or role (make them immune to the AutoMod), you may use the /automod immunity command. There you may add, remove, or view the exempt channels/roles from an AutoMod module. Note that if a module is integrated with Discord's built in AutoMod, these can be directly managed from your server's AutoMod settings. The modules integrated with Discord are Filter, Links, and Invites.

Filter

Filter has its own special section in the /automod command. /automod filter allows you to manage the filter list (AKA blacklist) for words. This may also be managed in your server's AutoMod settings.

Spam

Like the filter module, spam also has its own section. It is used to manage the triggers for triggering the spam AutoMod. In other words, you can add rules to determine how many messages have to be sent in what time frame to trigger the spam AutoMod.
